Laundroworks

Laundroworks supplies a contactless payment platform for vended laundry, reporting use in more than 6,000 laundry locations. The system combines stored-value loyalty cards with tap-to-pay NFC readers, a Value Add Center kiosk where customers load cards, and mobile apps for both customers and floor attendants.

Management runs through LaundroPortal, a cloud dashboard for monitoring and controlling machines across a store or a group in real time. The company describes universal compatibility with all commercially available machine types, which, as with any such claim, is worth confirming against your specific model list.

The attendant app is the underrated piece. In an attended store, the ability to refund a failed cycle, start a machine for a customer, or check status from the floor removes the most common source of counter friction, and it produces a record of who issued what refund. On a store you are evaluating, ask to see the refund report: an unusually high refund rate is one of the cleanest early signals of a fleet with problems.
