Alliance Laundry Distribution

Alliance Laundry Systems is the manufacturer behind Speed Queen, Huebsch, UniMac and Primus, based in Ripon, Wisconsin, and it now sells through its own distribution arm in much of the country as well as through independent distributors.

That direct footprint is recent and it was assembled by acquisition. Alliance bought the distribution assets of PWS, the largest Speed Queen distributor in North America, in March 2021; PWS's route business was excluded and sold separately. It has continued to consolidate since, acquiring Metropolitan Laundry Machinery Sales in August 2025 and Super Laundry in March 2026. If you have been out of the market a few years, the distributor you used to call may now be Alliance.

For a buyer, the practical consequence is parts and service continuity on the most common fleet in the industry. Speed Queen and Huebsch machines are everywhere in vended laundry, and a manufacturer-owned parts channel is a reasonable answer to the twenty-year support question. Confirm who covers warranty labor in your specific market, since that still varies.
